** COMMUNITY PARADE ** - The parade starts at 11:00am SHARP! - No registration necessary - Staging at 1000 Columbia Valley Road ( Center Road) 10:30-10:45 AM
Led by the fabulous Columbia Valley Volunteer Fire Department, we will travel to the CV Community Centre for judging and prizes - Decorate a vehicle, a bike, yourself, a tractor or your animals, or try something really unique!

** GAMES ** - Put Out the Fireman!! water balloon toss - Face painting - Yard games - 50/50 draw and raffle
**ARTISAN/ FARMERS MARKET** -several local vendors will be selling their cool and creative goods. Please bring CASH as not all vendors accept all payments VENDORS: TBA
** BBQ ** - Our local residents along side of Chestnut Springs Bakery will be serving up TWO scrumptious choices! 1) BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich w/ coleslaw and rootbeer -$14 OR 2) Deluxe Grilled Cheese Sandwich w/coleslaw and rootbeer -$10

**CONCESSION** will be open all day
** SOAPBOX DERBY ** After a 2 year intermission the SOAP BOX Derby is back for 2022!!! Everyone welcome to join in the races or be a spectator
Awards for: -Best time -People's choice of best designed cart, -Best run of the day etc. Here are the rules: -No motors and some type of braking system. -Riders must have helmets and shoes; long pants are preferable. -This event is suitable for anyone aged 6 - 96. ( although we have had some younger competitors accompanied with a parent). - Idea on How to Build a Soap Box Derby Car https://www.instructables.com/Soap-Box-Derby-Car-Overview/ - The bigger the wheels the better for speed and stability!
